Experimental design

This design aimed to recapture the playful, carefree feeling of creating art as a child. I crafted a storybook-like scene using bold, textured cut-outs to evoke simplicity and nostalgia. At the bottom, I added interactive color-coded prompts, encouraging viewers to draw simple, fun subjects like a rocketship or their pet. The goal was to create a stress-free, enjoyable experience that invites older artists to reconnect with the joy and spontaneity of making art. Originally I was not going to make this poster using photos. Our professor instructed us to take photos of random textures to push our thought process during this project but I went back and used those textures in the final product because I found that it fit so well. My process started with making a layout or idea of what I wanted the poster to look like once I finalized that it was easy to add in the images only slightly tweaking them in Photoshop.
