I designed this Lollapalooza poster in Adobe Illustrator with a vibrant space theme. The colorful gradients contrast against the deep black background, creating a dynamic and visually striking composition that captures the festival's energy. I arranged the artist names in two rows for clarity and balance, ensuring the typography was bold and readable. To enhance the experience, I animated the poster using Adobe Premiere Pro and linked it with Adobe Aero to create an interactive barcode. When scanned, the barcode brings the poster to life through augmented reality, allowing viewers to experience the animation on their phones, adding an immersive layer to the design. Try it out! (scan the qr code that pops up once you click the button on the right). My process while creating this poster was different than other poster designs I have done. Since this is a moving poster I had to make sure each element and what I was designing could move if needed. I also had to think about what would be interesting to the viewers. I modeled this poster after other Lolla posters that have a similar space theme to them. Once I figured out my theme, perfected the gradient, and finalized the layout it was easy to add small illustrations and elements that would eventually dance around the poster.
