Fleetwood mac magazine

For this project, I designed a magazine combining my love for vintage design and Fleetwood Mac, aiming to create something timeless that could resonate in both 1973 and 2024. I blended modern and vintage styles, using a color palette and typography that echoed the '70s while incorporating a contemporary style. The design balanced nostalgia with modernity, ensuring it felt cohesive across articles, infographics, and imagery. Consistent use of colors and typography unified the design, while minimalism in the type contrasted with the more experimental elements. This magazine honors Fleetwood Mac’s legacy while appealing to today's readers. My process for this project was different than others since it was my first ever magazine project. I took a lot of time working on the format of the magazine and what works to be the most successful while reading through the information. I did this before designing and adding artistic elements because if it isn't clear to read adding other distractions would not help. After this was successfully completed and already knowing the band and the history I jumped in to designing the final project that you see here.
